When the company was established two years ago, I could never have dreamed that we would be where we are now. I am so lucky that I have a fabulous team of individuals working for me. They are all hard working, dedicated and enthusiastic about the role, and it really shows.

Most of my team are hardworking parents. When the company was set up a couple of years ago, the aim was to provide a working environment that suited family life i.e. being flexible enough to work around care commitments but also doing something that I loved. I also recognised the importance of this for other professionals. It is apparent that people’s lives are getting busier; we all want to fit more into not just our working days, but our days in general. The need for a high standard of training remains, but the reality means that people just don’t have the time to fit this in and therefore standards are slipping. This was very apparent in audit findings.

So, the solution? Excellent, high-quality training that people can take in their own time. This is how Training Online4u was born. We didn’t want to lose the classroom experience that is so important to the learner so we worked extremely hard to make sure we could replicate that online. With our training we made sure our users could do a little, pause, and return to where they left off. We wanted it to be accessible 24/7 and, on any device, so that people could fit it in around their busy schedules. We wanted to include little activities to check knowledge and keep our users engaged. I am proud to say we have achieved all of this and it has been a great success.

We were surprised but honoured to receive a nomination for the Best Training Provider award. We completed several rounds of questionnaires and interviews. When we received notice that we had won we were over the moon! It was the icing on the cake for such a hard-working year and really gave me and the team a morale boost. It’s great to get recognition and it is so satisfying that our customers are loving the training as much as we are. We had a fabulous time celebrating our award and our trophy takes pride of place in our office.
